Fees
$180 per session. A Medicare rebate applies when referred under a Mental Health care plan.

Medicare
Happy Now Therapies is approved to provide counselling through the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Program. To claim a Medicare rebate you will need to be referred via your Doctor. Please visit your doctor and request a mental health care plan.

Victims Services
Happy Now Therapies provides approved Victim’s Services Counselling. Counselling is free of charge for those approved under the Victims Services Counselling scheme.

Private Health
Some private health funds do offer a rebate so please check with your individual provider for eligibility. Please note: We will provide you with a payment receipt however it is your responsibility to contact your private health insurer to make a claim. To avoid disappointment please check your private health insurance covers services offered by Accredited Mental Health Social Workers.


Cancellation policy
We are committed to providing a quality service to as many clients as possible. As there may be others on a waitlist it is essential to provide adequate notice of a cancellation.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so within a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to contact within the 24 hour time frame to cancel or reschedule your appointment may incur a cancellation fee.

Yes. Please visit your doctor and request a mental health care plan.

“Do I need a referral?”
No. Although a referral is required to access a Medicare rebate.

“Do you offer telehealth?”
Yes. Phone and video sessions are available on request.

“How long does a session last?”
Most sessions go for just under an hour.
